Funny Letter
LOL:To the Editor:When I first read this, I laughed out loud for quite a while.
In 1991, when photo radar systems were being introduced, Herb Caen reported in The San Francisco Chronicle that a Pebble Beach motorist received photos of his speeding car and an accompanying notice from the police of a $45 fine.
In turn, the motorist sent the police department a photo of $45. The police department responded by sending the motorist a photo of a set of handcuffs. I think he paid the fine.
